Big Country Veterans Helicopter Weekend was designed to promote awareness of our veteran sacrifices and help foster healing environments designed to transform wartime experiences into positive memories for combat veterans and their families. Big Country Veterans and the famous Circle Bar Ranch have teamed together to provide a truly one-of-a-kind adventure for the winning bidder of this tremendous package. This package is for one hunter and one guest and includes the following: two (2) Priority Helicopter Hunt Flights (1 Friday and 1 Saturday) as you chase the exploding feral hog populations near the host town of Truscott, TX, VIP Passes for Veterans weekend, including dinner and entertainment, as well as access to the exclusive event shooting range that features 1,000 yard targets, a .50 caliber machine gun, hand crank Gatlin and much more (firearms and ammunition provided). You will enjoy Texas-sized hospitality and authentic western cuisine. The winner and guest will stay at the event headquarters in your own private state-of–the-art RV featuring all modern amenities and the comfort of home, as well as access to the historic Circle Bar Ranch private lodge. This hunt is available late April 2023 only. Adding to the mission and fun of this tremendous event, the winner will be paired with one of DSC’s own decorated military veterans, retired Navy SEAL and FTW Ranch SAAM shooting instructor, Dave Knesek, for the entire weekend event. Online Auction Terms and Conditions
1. Winner’s credit card on file will be charged the full amount for each successful bid. Winner will receive an immediate email acknowledgment at the conclusion of the bidding phase followed by a paid invoice once their payment has processed.
2. In the event the card is declined, DSC Foundation (DSCF) will make one attempt to contact the winner to obtain a new form of payment. If the bidder cannot be reached, DSCF may, in its sole and absolute discretion, re-sell the affected item. Online bidders are encouraged to remain available via cell phone during the bidding process.
3. Firearm purchases. Firearms will be shipped by DSCF’s FFL licensee to the auction winner’s designated FFL licensee at the auction winner’s expense.
4. Online winners will be assessed a Buyer's Premium (5% or $250, whichever is less) on the total winning bid amount for each online purchase. The Buyer’s Premium will be included in the total charged for each item.
5. Online bidders agree not to use any device, software or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of any transaction being conducted during the online auction.
6. DSCF reserves the right, for any reason, in its sole discretion, to terminate, change or suspend any aspect of the online auction.
7. If bidder dissatisfaction occurs with the online auction in any way, bidder’s only recourse is to immediately discontinue use of the online auction before items have been purchased.

The high bidder acknowledges that the goods have not been inspected by DSCF and is advised, in the case of firearms, knives, bullets, or other weapons to secure a competent inspection and test of the goods before use. GOODS ARE SOLD “AS IS” WITH ALL FAULTS AND DEFECTS AND WITHOUT ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY ON THE PART OF DSCF. The high bidder further acknowledges that in the event services are purchased, DSCF cannot be responsible for or liable for any political unrest, pandemic or instability that may occur inside or outside the confines of the United States, nor can DSCF be accountable for any injuries or damages that may arise therefrom. The high bidder further acknowledges that his/her purchase is final and non-refundable under any and all circumstances, and that should legal action be required to collect for the services acquired by the high bidder at the auction, DSCF shall be entitled to all reasonable attorney’s fees, cost of court and interest as provided by law.
9. Bidder acknowledges that the online auction bidding phase is conducted electronically and relies on hardware and software that may malfunction without warning. DSCF will not be responsible for error or failures to execute bids placed via the internet, including, without limitation, errors or failures caused by (i) a loss of connection on DSCF`s or bidder`s end (ii) a breakdown or problems with the online bidding software and /or (iii) a breakdown or problems with a bidder`s internet connection, computer or system. DSCF does not accept liability for failure to execute any online bid or for errors or omissions in connection therewith.
10. DSCF may void any sale, temporarily suspend bidding, and re-sell any goods that were affected by any malfunction.
11. CHARITABLE DEDUCTION QUALIFICATIONS
DSCF is a qualified charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. Donations to DSCF are deductible under Section 170(c) of the Internal Revenue Code. Amounts paid for an item in excess of stated value may qualify for charitable deduction. Consult your tax professional for the deductibility of amounts paid for auction purchases.
12. AUCTION CREDIT POLICY FOR DSCF. Disputes regarding auction items purchased during the DSCF Convention, or at any other time, shall be submitted to the DSCF Board in writing and shall detail the basis for the dispute and the grounds supporting a refund. The DSCF Board may, in its sole and absolute discretion, approve an auction credit for the amount paid, deny relief, or, in extraordinary circumstances, approve a refund of the amount paid. Without limitation, credits or refunds will not be given if the auction winner is unable to utilize the purchased item in the time described in the auction description due to illness, work conflicts, personal or family conflicts or death(s), travel delays, or cancellations or any other similar matters affecting the auction buyer that are outside of the control of DSCF. DSCF’s auction credit policy will not apply to any auction item for which the Donor and Buyer alter or vary the terms set forth for the item in the auction catalog or any other description of the auction item prepared and/or disseminated by DSCF. If a refund or credit is approved by the DSCF Board for any auction item the proceeds of which are to be paid to or split with any third-party beneficiary, the refund or credit will not exceed the net amount allocable to DSCF for such item. All credit or refund decisions are within the sole discretion of the Board of DSCF and all Board decisions are final.
