Are you looking for the ultimate sportsman's escape? Picture this: seven days and six nights in a spacious, self-service, 8-bedroom home nestled in the heart of North Carolina's Outer Banks - just steps away from some of the best waterfowl hunting and fishing the East Coast has to offer. Welcome to your new favorite retreat in Avon, NC. This isn't your average beach house. Designed with outdoor enthusiasts in mind, this large and comfortable home easily sleeps groups of up to 17, making it perfect for families and groups of friends who love the outdoors. With a large common room, a roomy deck overlooking Pamlico Sound, and a fully equipped kitchen you'll have all the comfort and convenience you need after a long day on the beach or out on the water. Fall and winter in the Outer Banks mean waterfowl season. From your base in Avon, you're just minutes away from connecting with seasoned waterfowl guides who can take you to sink boxes, scissor and platform blinds in the big water of Pamlico Sound. Alternately, you can do it yourself and hunt the public shorelines of Cape Hatteras National Seashore. This area is famous for its population of pintail, redhead, teal and black ducks, as well as Canada geese. When you're not hunting, there's no shortage of fishing opportunities to fill your cooler. Black drum, redfish, and speckled trout can all be caught in the sound right from property or else further out with the use of a kayak. Alternately a short walk and even shorter drive will take you to Hatteras Island's Atlantic beaches where anglers can cast into the surf for redfish, black drum, bluefish, and striped bass. Looking for tuna, mahi mahi or big game species? There are plenty of local charters to take you out on the ocean. After a day outdoors guests can unwind in the hot tub, in front of the fireplace, or watch the sunset over the sound from the deck. Whether you're chasing birds, casting lines, or just soaking in the coastal beauty, this Avon home gives you everything you need to make memories that last a lifetime. Ready to book your adventure? The ducks are flying, the fish are biting, and your Outer Banks getaway is waiting. This trip is available for one week in October 2025-March 2026 or the same dates the following year, subject to availability. Date restrictions apply; not available during holidays.
