The "McNab" originated in Scotland many years ago where the goal was to take a red stag, a brace of grouse and catch a salmon all in the same day. The goal of the Choctaw McNab is to shoot an American bison, an Eastern wild turkey and to catch a large-mouth bass all within the course of one day - truly an admirable accomplishment. Should it not be accomplished in the course of a day, extra time is allowed. Should the successful bidder take all three in 1 day, there will be extra days to fish or simply to relax - or, if they wish at an additional charge, pursue other species found on the property at current pricelist.
The Choctaw Hunting Lodge, owned by the Choctaw Nation in Southeastern Oklahoma, encompasses over 22,000-acres of prime mountainous wildlife habitat. The property has five large conservation lakes and many smaller ponds which are home to largemouth bass, crappie and other game fish. American bison roam and are hunted inside their large estate pastures, as well as Eastern turkeys.
The Choctaw MacNab is a 3-day/2-night package, starting at noon and ending at noon and includes 1x guided American bison hunt, 1x guided Eastern turkey hunt and guided fishing. Also included is a Spandau S2 Realtree APX 28" turkey shotgun and Larry Weishuhn's personal R95 .45-70 Government rifle topped with a Trijicon scope, which can be used to take the bison or the winner can bring an appropriate rifle of their choice. This hunt is available during 2027 Oklahoma spring turkey season. This package includes field prep of bison and turkey, transportation of bison to meat processor, guides, transportation on the property, delicious meals, extremely comfortable lodging (individual bedroom with ensuite bath), appropriate snacks and adult beverages after the hunt. Plus, the bison hunt, fishing and possibly the turkey hunt will be filmed for the weekly "A Sportsman's Life" television series sponsored by DSC. Larry Weishuhn, DSC Ambassador/Mr. Whitetail, will likely be in camp with the buyer, possibly filming, but also later writing articles and blogs about the hunt.
Not included are required Oklahoma hunting and fishing licenses at $75+, travel to and from the Choctaw Hunting Lodge, meat processing, skinning/caping and shipping of meat to the buyer or the trophy to taxidermist and gratuities. Shipping arrangements/payments are solely between winning bidder, the shipper of their choice and/or donors. DSC Foundation assumes no responsibility or liability of shipped items. No hard item merchandise will be delivered to buyers until DSC Foundation bank confirms full payment has been received. All hard merchandise may not be shipped until 30 days after the close of auction.

Bidders’ names and addresses to which the merchandise must be delivered may not be changed after date of sale.

Online Auction Terms and Conditions
1) Winner’s credit card on file will be charged the full amount for each successful bid. Winner will receive a paid invoice at the completion of the auction.
2) In the event the card is declined, DSC Foundation (DSCF) will make one attempt to contact the winner to obtain a new form of payment. If the bidder cannot be reached, DSCF may, in its sole and absolute discretion, re-sell the related item. Online bidders are encouraged to remain available via cell phone during the bidding process.
3) Firearms will be shipped by DSCF’s FFL licensee to the auction winner’s designated FFL licensee at the auction winner’s expense.
4) Online winners will be assessed a Buyer's Premium 5% or $300 (whichever is less) on the total winning bid amount for each online purchase. The Buyer’s Premium will be included in the total charged for each item.
5) Online bidders agree not to use any device, software or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of any transaction being conducted during the online auction.
6) DSCF reserves the right, for any reason, in its sole discretion, to terminate, change or suspend any aspect of the online auction.
7) If bidder dissatisfaction occurs with the online auction in any way, bidder’s only recourse is to immediately discontinue use of the online auction before items have been purchased.
8) DSCF reserves the right to terminate bidder registration and use of the online auction, and impose limits on certain features of the online auction or restrict bidder access to, or use of, part or the entire online auction without notice or penalty.
9) DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY: All GOODS in the live auctions, silent auctions and raffles have been acquired or obtained from third parties. The winning bidder acknowledges that the GOODS have not been inspected by DSCF and is advised, in the case of firearms, knives, bullets, or other hard items to secure a competent inspection and test of the GOODS before use. GOODS ARE SOLD “AS IS” WITH ALL FAULTS AND DEFECTS AND WITHOUT ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY ON THE PART OF DSCF. DSCF MAKES NO WARRANTIES OF FITNESS OR MERCHANTABILITY AND EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM THE SAME. DSCF does not accept any responsibility or liability for any product, design or use. 10) Bidder acknowledges that the online auction bidding phase is conducted electronically and relies on hardware and software that may malfunction without warning. DSCF will not be responsible for error or failures to execute bids placed via the internet, including, without limitation, errors or failures caused by (i) a loss of connection on DSCF`s or bidder`s end (ii) a breakdown or problems with the online bidding software and /or (iii) a breakdown or problems with a bidder`s internet connection, computer or system. DSCF does not accept liability for failure to execute any online bid or for errors or omissions in connection therewith.
12) DSCF may void any sale, temporarily suspend bidding, and re-sell any goods that were affected by any malfunction.
13) CHARITABLE DEDUCTION QUALIFICATIONS. DSCF is a qualified charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. Donations to DSCF are deductible under Section 170(c) of the Internal Revenue Code. Amounts paid for an item in excess of stated value may qualify for charitable deduction. Consult your tax professional for the deductibility of amounts paid for auction purchases.
12) AUCTION CREDIT POLICY FOR DSCF. Disputes regarding auction items purchased during the DSCF Convention, or at any other time, shall be submitted to the DSCF Board in writing and shall detail the basis for the dispute and the grounds supporting a refund. The DSCF Board may, in its sole and absolute discretion, approve an auction credit for the amount paid, deny relief, or, in extraordinary circumstances, approve a refund of the amount paid. Without limitation, credits or refunds will not be given if the auction winner is unable to utilize the purchased item in the time described in the auction description due to illness, work conflicts, personal or family conflicts or death(s), travel delays, or cancellations or any other similar matters affecting the auction buyer that are outside of the control of DSCF. DSCF’s auction credit policy will not apply to any auction item for which the Donor and Buyer alter or vary the terms set forth for the item in the auction catalog or any other description of the auction item prepared and/or disseminated by DSCF. If a refund or credit is approved by the DSCF Board for any auction item the proceeds of which are to be paid to or split with any third-party beneficiary, the refund or credit will not exceed the net amount allocable to DSCF for such item. All credit or refund decisions are within the sole discretion of the Board of DSCF and all Board decisions are final. DSCF reserves the right to terminate bidder registration and use of the online auction, and impose limits on certain features of the online auction or restrict bidder access to, or use of, part or the entire online auction without notice or penalty.
