Driftwood Valley Outfitters is pleased to donate a 9-day/10-night 1x1 Canadian moose, mountain goat or elk hunt for one hunter in northern British Columbia, Canada - includes trophy fee for hunters' choice of 1x species, or choice of the following packages: black bear, winter trapline (wolf/lynx/coyote/wolverine), lynx/wolf hunt and Takla Summer Camp for up to three people/hunters, where you will be spending time with the indigenous kids out on the land with other elders and knowledge holders. Method of take is rifle or bow. This hunt is available September-October (moose/elk), August-September (goat), May-June (bear) and November-March (winter trapline wolf/coyote - wolverine and lynx closes in February) 2026 or 2027 and may be upgraded to include a 2nd animal of either species at $7,500 each. Additional hunters are welcome at $22,000; non-hunters are welcome at $3,500. Transportation during the hunt is mostly by plane with hunting done on foot and by spot & stalk. This package includes field prep, transportation to shipper, RT transfers from Smithers, B.C. to hotel, RT float plane transfers to camp, hunting cabin accommodations, Wi-Fi and all meals. Not included are bush flights, hunting license and tags at $2,000, CITES permit at $50, before/after hunt accommodations in Smithers at $170/night and gratuities. In this land based education program students learn valuable lessons and knowledge from experienced guides, tudors and instructors. First Nations community leaders incorporate indigenous knowledge, traditions and lessons. This three year apprenticeship program provides a unique opportunity for individuals to learn a skilled trade in the hunting tourism profession while gaining valuable education and knowledge about their culture.
