Literature devoted to the often-astonishing experiences of the dedicated hunter/conservationist has no peer when it comes to the biography of the late Prince Abdoreza PAHLAVI of Iran. His accomplishments can never be duplicated. It is too late, but never too late to inspire succeeding generations.
The Prince, who passed away in Florida on 11 May 2004, invested over six decades of his exceptional life to hunting and its undisputed role in the conserving of wildlife and habitat around the world. This generously illustrated biography, ROYAL QUEST, boasts a great deal of full-colour photography and is one of only fifty copies of a five-hundred copy publication completely bound in blue goatskin and displaying fine gold lettering. It is housed in a handsome, custom-built clamshell case and is accompanied by an especially framed, engraved bronze medallion linking the United States of America to Prince Abdorreza.
He especially commissioned the late and greatly esteemed Bill Quimby to write his book. It is not only signed by both men. But each also signed and dated special, personalised messages to Fiona Capstick when she acquired the book in 2004 for the Capstick Archives.
What sets this fine publication apart is the sheer geographic sweep of the narrative. The reader is taken on hunting expeditions in all hemispheres and to many countries long since closed to hunting. From freezing, high-altitude haunts to the unfenced horizons of the African savannah, from Middle Eastern desert to the snow fastnesses of the polar bear, Prince Abdorreza accompanies the reader on a journey like no other.
The author of significant conservation legislation, the developer of wildlife museums and the force behind the preservation of vast tracts of land in his native Iran before the 1979 catastrophe, Prince Abdorreza's biography mirrors the power of the ethical hunter in the enduring conservation of game and habitat. It also mirrors what happens when political turmoil engulfs a country or region, dooming wildlife, and its habitat to ever steeper decline and eventual extinction. Chad and Afghanistan are examples.

Online Auction Terms and Conditions
1) Winner’s credit card on file will be charged the full amount for each successful bid. Winner will receive a paid invoice at the completion of the auction.
2) In the event the card is declined, DSC Foundation (DSCF) will make one attempt to contact the winner to obtain a new form of payment. If the bidder cannot be reached, DSCF may, in its sole and absolute discretion, re-sell the related item. Online bidders are encouraged to remain available via cell phone during the bidding process.
3) Firearms will be shipped by DSCF’s FFL licensee to the auction winner’s designated FFL licensee at the auction winner’s expense.
4) Online winners will be assessed a Buyer's Premium 5% or $300 (whichever is less) on the total winning bid amount for each online purchase. The Buyer’s Premium will be included in the total charged for each item.
5) Online bidders agree not to use any device, software or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of any transaction being conducted during the online auction.
6) DSCF reserves the right, for any reason, in its sole discretion, to terminate, change or suspend any aspect of the online auction.
7) If bidder dissatisfaction occurs with the online auction in any way, bidder’s only recourse is to immediately discontinue use of the online auction before items have been purchased.
8) DSCF reserves the right to terminate bidder registration and use of the online auction, and impose limits on certain features of the online auction or restrict bidder access to, or use of, part or the entire online auction without notice or penalty.
9) DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY: All GOODS in the live auctions, silent auctions and raffles have been acquired or obtained from third parties. The winning bidder acknowledges that the GOODS have not been inspected by DSCF and is advised, in the case of firearms, knives, bullets, or other hard items to secure a competent inspection and test of the GOODS before use. DSCF does not accept liability for failure to execute any online bid or for errors or omissions in connection therewith.
12) DSCF may void any sale, temporarily suspend bidding, and re-sell any goods that were affected by any malfunction.
13) CHARITABLE DEDUCTION QUALIFICATIONS. DSCF is a qualified charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. Donations to DSCF are deductible under Section 170(c) of the Internal Revenue Code. Amounts paid for an item in excess of stated value may qualify for charitable deduction. Consult your tax professional for the deductibility of amounts paid for auction purchases.
12) AUCTION CREDIT POLICY FOR DSCF. Disputes regarding auction items purchased during the DSCF Convention, or at any other time, shall be submitted to the DSCF Board in writing and shall detail the basis for the dispute and the grounds supporting a refund. The DSCF Board may, in its sole and absolute discretion, approve an auction credit for the amount paid, deny relief, or, in extraordinary circumstances, approve a refund of the amount paid. Without limitation, credits or refunds will not be given if the auction winner is unable to utilize the purchased item in the time described in the auction description due to illness, work conflicts, personal or family conflicts or death(s), travel delays, or cancellations or any other similar matters affecting the auction buyer that are outside of the control of DSCF. DSCF’s auction credit policy will not apply to any auction item for which the Donor and Buyer alter or vary the terms set forth for the item in the auction catalog or any other description of the auction item prepared and/or disseminated by DSCF. If a refund or credit is approved by the DSCF Board for any auction item the proceeds of which are to be paid to or split with any third-party beneficiary, the refund or credit will not exceed the net amount allocable to DSCF for such item. All credit or refund decisions are within the sole discretion of the Board of DSCF and all Board decisions are final. DSCF reserves the right to terminate bidder registration and use of the online auction, and impose limits on certain features of the online auction or restrict bidder access to, or use of, part or the entire online auction without notice or penalty.
