IN ROOM ONLY BIDDING: This package benefits the life-changing work of Retrieving Freedom, Inc., a nonprofit that provides highly trained Labrador Retriever service dogs to veterans with disabilities and children with autism. The lucky winner of this item will receive a custom Henry Big Boy H006C rifle in .45 Colt. On one side of the rifle, Retrieving Freedom Inc. is stamped in the barrel, RFI is carved in the forearm, a child with a service dog with a flagpole scene and another service dog are inlaid, and 1 in 44 is inscribed in the grip to represent that 1 in 44 children are diagnosed with autism.
On the other side of the rifle, Retrieving Freedom Inc. is stamped in the barrel, RFI is carved in the forearm, the RFI logo is inlaid with a landscape of RFI headquarters, "22 Per Day" is inscribed in the grip to represent that 22 per day is the number of veteran suicides, and the RFI logo above the mission statement is inscribed in the stock.
The winning bidder of the Heny rifle will also receive a tour of RFI's facility in Missouri, as well as a personally guided Eastern Turkey hunt. You need to see Retrieving Freedom in person to fully understand the impact this organization has on veterans suffering from PTSD and children with autism. A tour alone would be worth the trip to our headquarters in Sedalia, Missouri to see the dogs in action - but since we are located right in the middle of some of the best turkey hunting in the country, we figured you should come up, tour the facility, learn about how we change lives with service dogs and do some turkey hunting and fishing. We want you to make the most of your visit!
Your turkey hunting guide will be Retrieving Freedom CEO Brandon Butler, who has completed the World Slam, having harvested all six subspecies of wild turkey. He has successfully hunted turkeys in more than a dozen states but still loses regularly to longbeards. Thankfully, the property is excellent, so chances are you'll have a shot at a big Eastern gobbler. You'll catch some fish, eat well and enjoy your comfortable stay as our guest in the RFI headquarters residence facility as our guest.
This is a 2-day guided turkey hunt on private land in Central Missouri for one hunter and includes a private tour and service dog demonstration at RFI, private lake fishing for largemouth bass and crappie and Retrieving Freedom merch. DSC FOUNDATION THANKS RETRIEVING FREEDOM, INC. FOR THIS 100% DONATION. Brandon Butler, brandon@retrievingfreedom.org, 660-281-9804.
